Power drive results

The Wayne Power Drive team had an excellent day at the 2021 EVERON Power Drive Championships. Students competed with 3 cars in 2 separate classes. Exhibition class cars competed in a 90 minute endurance rally. Car E107 driven by Juan Hernandez placed 3rd completing 150 laps, tying the previous lap record. Car E39 driven by Nathan Kufner-Rodriguez placed 2nd (Runner Up State Champion) completing 160 laps, beating the previous track record it set in 2019. Advanced class car A22 driven by Emily Eilers competed and placed in multiple events throughout the day.

This is the 3rd Advanced class Championship and 3rd Exhibition class Runner Up Wayne has won.

Wayne received 18 awards this season, placing in the top 3 in each race, winning each endurance race in Advanced class, and was only 1 point away from winning every event in Advanced class for the whole season.  Car A22 was the advanced class mileage leader, leading 2nd place by over 27 miles.  Car E39 completed its 1,000th mile in competition this season as well.  Counting all competition classes Wayne has won 9 Championships and has 7 Runner ups.

Hard work throughout the year by the whole team made this a very successful season.
